Grabba devices now available for new BlackBerry models

10 May 2010 / Press Release

The release of the Blackberry range of products has been one of Grabba's key achievements this year. Grabba launched its full suite of capture technologies on the BlackBerry® Curve™ 83xx and 89xx series, and BlackBerry® Bold in November 2009. This year the company added the Blackberry Tour and Storm to its list of supported devices, and also implemented a complete range of new technologies. Due to requests from industry, the Grabba attachments now feature fingerprint recognition, passport reading, and signature capture.

To recognise these efforts, Grabba was in Florida this May to receive an award at the International RIM BlackBerry Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES 2010) and was featured in the Oracle presentation keynote item on day one of the conference.

Frank Downes, President and CEO at Grabba, said, ”The BlackBerry® platform has become entrenched in fields of activity where there is a requirement for accuracy, immediacy and efficiency in data collection.
This has opened demand for special attachments that are the core competency of Grabba.”
